Overview

Eligibility

Application Process

  1. Complete the online DS-160 form and submit; save the confirmation page and barcode.
  2. Pay the non-refundable visa application fee (MRV fee) and keep the receipt.
  3. Schedule your visa interview at the US Embassy or Consulate in your country.
  4. Attend the interview with all original documents and copies; answer questions clearly and honestly.
  5. If approved, your passport will be returned with the visa; if administrative processing is required, additional time may be needed.
